Today we want to bring you the story of Eileen Gu, born on September 3, 2003 in San Francisco , California (USA).
Her mother, of Chinese origin, introduced her to skiing from a very young age, taking advantage of the fact that she worked as a ski instructor during the winter seasons.
Eileen started skiing when she was just 3 years old, and by the age of 9 she had already won her first national championship in freestyle skiing (junior).
Although he was born in the United States and started competing as an American, at the age of 15 he decided to change his sporting nationality to represent China in international competitions.

She became the first freestyle skier to win three medals at a single Winter Olympic Games , and also the youngest Olympic champion in freestyle skiing.
